Partner with Queen's Grant to make an impact in your community

Thank you for your interest in partnering with Queen’s Grant Community School.

Queen’s Grant, established in Mint Hill, NC, in 2002, is off Matthews-Mint Hill Rd. We are a fully enrolled public charter school, grades K-8, with 770 enrolled scholars, receiving approximately 1,200 applications yearly. We have a fantastic leadership team of 3 Deans and principal, Krista Tolchin.

Our diverse student population comprises 50% Caucasian, 30% African American, 16% Hispanic, 3% Asian, and 1% other. 6% of our student population includes English Learners. 45% of our student population qualify for free or reduced lunch, which is how the Federal Government determines our Title One Funding. Using a research-based curriculum, we use the majority of our Title One funding on Interventionists who service our scholars below the 25% in reading and math.

Part of the role of the PTI is to assist the school leadership in filling economic gaps in the school’s budget. We accomplish this through student fundraising and corporate sponsorships. We aim to involve our community in enhancing our scholars’ learning experience. Previous fundraising projects have included:

• Outdoor Learning Center (Garden)
• Awning to cover our students during afternoon pick-up
• Supporting specific classroom and athletic program needs

This year, our corporate sponsorships aim to grow our community partners and use the donations to update outdoor athletic fields.

Your donation is tax-deductible, and we will send you a receipt. Your company will be featured as a business sponsor and community partner to the families of our 770 students. We have a variety of tiers that will serve to highlight your business.

We welcome any questions you may have. You can email our PTI president and the PTI board at queensgrantpti@gmail.com.
Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
